    Great way to start the day

    I love watching Tune in with me while I get ready for work in the morning. Some skits are a little cheesy but its part of the fun. The host's enthusiasm is refreshing. The history of the cartoons is so cool! I have become familiar with the big names in classic animation. For instance i really didnt know who Chuck Jones was and just learned that he directed a scene in Mrs Doubtfire.

    I like the themes and when they show the really old cartoons. Each cartoon gets an introduction that makes it more interesting.

    I have to leave for work before it is over and I haven't figured out how to get MeTV2 yet but i'm looking forward to falling asleep with it on too!

    Less talkie, more toonie!

    So happy to have real cartoons on television again! The only reason this is not 10 stars is because of the sheer amount of time in between them. If you are going to have a commercial break between every cartoon there is absolutely no reason to do a skit before and after the break too...

    Great classic toons

    Unedited like I remember them. Bugs, Daffy, Popeye, Droopy, Wile E.

    Good cartoons, but with generic hosts.

    I enjoy the old cartoons, but unfortunately you have to deal with Bill and Toony the tuna. There's really nothing interesting about the "cartoon curator". If you look at Metv's other show, "Svengoolie", the host is fun and flamboyant. Bill however just looks like some random guy you would see on the street. Even the set is nothing impressive. It's basically the two main hosts standing in front of old tv's stacked on top of each other.

    Uggh

    Love the toons, but get rid of the excess baggage (Bill, the stupid tuna puppet that looks nothing like a tuna, the Ted Baxter like quiz master, and especially that annoying Goldie). They're painfully unfunny and add nothing to the show. I swear I'm going to start DVR ing the show so I can fast forward through the clap trap. Of course if I do that I'll be done watching in about 12 minutes. Please release us from this agony!!

      In anticipation of the debut of the weekday "Toon In with Me" morning show on January 4, 2021, MeTV aired two special "Cartoon Kick-Off" programs on the evenings of January 1 and January 2. (The January 1 show would be the official debut of MeTV's slate of classic WB, MGM, and Popeye cartoons, before the first installment of the new "Saturday Morning Cartoons" block aired the following morning.) In each of the "Cartoon Kick-Off" shows, as well as the three-hour "Saturday Morning Cartoons" block that aired on January 2, the cartoons were slightly cropped from their original 1.37:1 aspect ratios to better fill a widescreen television frame (often with parts of words cut off at the top and bottom of the opening logos). The cartoons featured within the hosted weekday morning show, however, preserve the full frame of their original release.
    • Goofs
      Commercials for this show regularly air between 2:00AM and 6:00AM and invariably say: "Tomorrow on Toon in With Me...". If it's after midnight when the commercial airs, it's not 'tomorrow' when the show airs, because past midnight, the next airing is already "today".
