Cheetah Family & Me

I have seen many documentaries on the Cheetah. This was an exceptional one. It even taught me a few things that I had not previously known. Gordon did a great job. I hope to see more of his work.

The cheetah is in trouble. The wild population is disappearing. Gordon Buchanan goes to the Kalahari to get up close to this fastest animal on Earth. He is filming two females and their pups. Savannah is struggling to keep her four cubs alive in the Tswalu Kalahari Reserve. Tswalu is a private reserve in northern South Africa. Chili is more successful with her five kittens in the Great Karoo Wilderness further south. Climate change has taken a toll on them as resources dwindle. They also lost their vast habitat to humanity. This is a two-part nature series on BBC. Gordon gets hands on and up close. There is some good information.
