Edit
This drama is based of a Japanese Manga and Anime known as Hana Yori Dango, which was made into live action in Japan. The show has not only been remade in Korea, but in Taiwan, China, and most recently, India.
Park Shin-hye was considered for role of Geum Jan Di.
Actress Ku Hye Sun revealed in an interview in November 2020 that she suffered a concussion while filming the scene in which she falls backwards into a swimming pool. "But I had to keep filming right away," she continued. "If I didn't immediately continue filming, the drama wouldn't be able to air on schedule. So I pushed myself to keep filming. Then, about a week later, I started feeling nauseated and dizzy. I eventually ended up fainting during filming and going to the hospital."
Boys Over Flowers: F4 Special Edition - After Story is a music drama, or extended music video, produced by Mnet. It is a sequel to the 2009 Korean drama, Boys Over Flowers. The first two episodes aired on April 28, 2009 - followed by the final two on May 19, 2009. The story follows the F4 five years after the events of the original series. The music drama features a total of nine songs, some of which were sung by the actors themselves, like Kim Hyun-joong's "Thing Called Happiness", Kim Bum's "I'm Going to Meet You Now", Lee Min-Ho's "My Everything" and Kim Joon's "To Make Empty".
Original drama was previously remake in Taiwan and China.
