Vibe is trying to understand how her father's recent suicide is entangled with his times as an East German spy in his communist youth during the Cold War.

Vibe travels to the former East Germany to find traces of her father Henrik in a communist youth college where she meets Henrik's long lost love.

Vibe gains access to the Stasi Archive and the files about her father. Henrik's code name: "Apache". She finds out how fear and the loss of his beloved Luci changed the course of his life.

During The Cold War Vibe's father was a spy for East German military intelligence. Since then he was living with anxiety. When Vibe was young he was hospitalized with a severe depression. Did he ever tell anyone why he was afraid? The only people alive who know are his former East German leading officers. They're old men now; it's last call to seek them out.
