Noah has a new lawyer and a bail hearing. It does not go well. Bail is denied.
Turkish prisons might not be a great place if you are suspected of being gay. Noah is willing to do anything to survive.
Kathy and her daughter return to Britain and she visits the Foreign Office. She is distinctly unimpressed by them. Kathy later gets a private investigator who seems to have hit jackpot without it seems going anywhere near Spain where the accuser resides.
It did look a lot like a holding episode. Kathy and Martin bicker, with Martin looking weak again.
The story between Megan and her errant husband Steve. That is just superfluous and belongs in another drama altogether. I saw no relevance in Megan's holiday affair.

It is an intriguing and compelling story but why are men always so weak or underhand in shows these days?
On top of that, why does everyone in an ITV drama live in a posh house?
The families strike me as being down to earth, good honest northerners but there is no sign of a semi detached house or back to back houses - not even a modern housing estate with your average 2 or 3 bedrooms.
That apart, other than being set in Turkey but the terrain being that of Spain plus all the work Sheridan Smith has had done in recent shows; it is a good story but we are given little depth into many of the characters.
A good bingewatch thanks to Britbox.

Noah faces an anxious wait in prison, while Martin and Kathy face some demons from the past.
Not as good as the first two episodes, the episode itself felt more like a snippet from a soap opera, it is heavily focused on melodrama, and not the nitty gritty, which is Noah's story.
It did seem a little curious that everyone is off out enjoying themselves whilst Noah is trapped in the Turkish equivalent of Borstal......
I'm not sure Turkish viewers would enjoy this quite so much, it's made to look like a barbaric, backward, regressive state.
Great acting of course as you'd expect, Louis Ashbourne Serkis is great, I can't believe how much he looks like his dad, Sheridan Smith is cracking, but in this episode there is too much focus on Kathy.
An interesting watch, good ideas, it just veered off the main plot too much here, 5/10.
