The Indian government announces a country-wide lockdown for 21 days due to the COVID-19 pandemic. India Lockdown encapsulates the story of four out of thousands of individuals whose lives came to a standstill.

1. A workaholic female pilot is extremely busy flying all across the globe, has no time for relationships. Due to lockdown, she gets stuck at home and misses her work. Lockdown gives her time to reflect on herself, her relationships and whats important to her. 2. A very well to do old retired man (early 60s) who lives alone with his dog in a posh society of Mumbai wants go to Delhi to be with his pregnant daughter at the time of her delivery which is due in a few days. Due to lockdown, his plans gets ruined and for the first time in his life he has to live without any house-help. 3. A prostitute from Kamathipura who knows ways to lure the customers, has lied to her mother that she is working as a nurse in Mumbai. She struggles for survival as prostitution gets shut during the lockdown. 4. A poverty-stricken migrant worker who has taken loan to buy a handcart battles the most difficult time of his life when he has to leave Mumbai and go to Bihar with his wife and two little daughters on foot after facing harassment for rent and repayment of loan by the creditors during the lockdown.

The COVID scare is feared in may parts globally while in India people are asked to take precautionary measures when the number of cases increases the Government comes with a solution to impose Lockdown in the country for 21 days.Mr Rao whose waiting to meet his pregnant daughter in Hyderabad asks his maid Phoolmati not to report to work until situation improves and gives two months salary in advance.Phoolmati lives with her husband Madhav who runs a Chat stall and two children but finds it difficult to make their ends meet with their income.Mehrunissa a prostitute in Mumbai's biggest red light area has hidden from her mother her identity and told her she works as Nurse in hospital.Moon Alves a pilot living in posh locality and two young stars who want to loose their virginity when either's uncle will be travelling leaving them alone in his flat.When the Lockdown is announced each individual finds it difficult to survive,Mr Rao gets trapped in his house with his dog and has to do all the household work himself.Phoolmati and Madhav decide to travel to their village walking with others as they have huge debt and creditors start to Harrass Madhav.Mehrunisa whose business is down due to social distancing is asked to do phone sex with customers by her pimp Tipu.While Moon also trapped alone in her house as no flights are taking off befriends the youngster her neighbor whose missing his girlfriend.—alex.mjacko@gmail.com
