MeTV horror host Svengoolie (Rich Koz) makes a quick cameo to comment on the sock puppet craziness going on with his network brethren. Svengoolie (1995) is one of the flagship programs on MeTV's otherwise-fluid slate of vintage television shows for the nostalgically inclined, and as one of the few shows on the "classic TV" network to produce new content, it had featured cross-promotional segments with Bill and Toony in the weeks leading up to the premiere of "Toon In with Me".
