Quick moving story with a couple of truly scary moments. Loved the combo of old fashioned horror hotel with a more modern feel. Gregg Schweers was great as the innkeeper.
Decent little hotel horror movie, with some snarky dialog. I don't think the horror elements are especially original, kind of a mashup up of things from The Shining, Ringu, and Argento films. But it's well enough put together, particularly considering the budget, and it's only 70 minutes. (Seen at 2021 Popcorn Frights virtual debut.)
That being said this movie was not horrible. I loved the brother and he was interesting enough to keep me invested in the movie. Aside from that nothing else was interesting about this movie. The story was just ok, not sure why they threw in that the sis was taking Modafinil (A medication to keep you awake due to narcolepsy). Details matter to me and it was never explained more on why they both kept drifting off like they did. This movie could have been half good at least but it just wasn't.
The pacing wasn't great at the start, and the story is one a seasoned horror fan would feel like it's familiar, but it was a decent low budget indie horror film. The acting is pretty good actually, and there are some nice tense and creepy moments. Even though it was a low budget film I think they did well with the budget, because it doesn't look cheap or anything like that.
It's much better once it warms up, and the dark and creepy moments kick in.
The ending could have been better, even if it wasn't at all surprising. It's the kind of ending I don't like as much as the "good ending". It could have been a lot more interesting.

There are a lot of Haunted House/Hotel movies around.
I stumbled over this one by accident.
I think for the small budget and the Corona Lockdown Situation they made something good out of it.
It wasn't really surpsing and you have heard the story a lot of times, but i think, the acting was good and the atmosphere had it's peeks.
All in all it was a nice little movie that i enjoyed with my wife.
No gore that would have chased her away but enough creepy things to keep us watching.
