I'm 5 episodes in, so it's keeping me interested. As other have said, it's clearly scripted, but still entertaining.
However, in the middle of episode 3, the narrator caught my attention as I suddenly realized it was like listening to someone read a 1st level Dick and Jane book.
Narrator - "Angela drives up a hill!"
Narrator - "Dale starts his truck!"
Narrator - Angela has a cut tire!"
Tough to ignore once you hear it, but I'm pushing on.

Love the vehicles and people. Love to see Big Donny in his element wheeling and dealing like he did on Rust Valley! The rest of the cast really pulls you in and the treks just keep getting more insane and intense. I wouldn't be going the places they are!
Yeah. They aren't actors. I grew up in a town just south that is about half an hour from Barriere.
My mom was a waitress at a truck stop for years and dealt with Darryl regularly.
She only remembers seeing Dale a couple times.
While I have no doubt that it's dramatized to make it more entertaining. But this is their actual job. They aren't just hired actors for it. I've never met anyone from the other start up company. But I have to say it's pretty cool to see them going through areas that I recognize!
I remember meeting Darryl a few times when I'd go in for lunch/dinner and he hasn't changed a bit.

Tough people in spectacular rural British Columbia making a living in trucking, towing and salvage. Very enjoyable scenery and entirely plausible plotlines. Never a dull moment with these independent and individualistic folks!
I can't believe I watched the entire season. I just kept wanting it to be good, but it never delivered. Overly scripted, overly dramatic. I just couldn't get into it. Every accident, mishap, or setback was obviously staged. The people in this show are actors. Nothing real about it.
It's supposed to be about hotshot trucking, and you quickly forget that's the premise of the show, since it's featured so little. I know a lot of so-called "reality" shows add drama, but this one is all added drama, with all the reality removed. The time I wasted watching this show is time I will never get back. Perhaps two stars is too generous a rating for this show.
