A brokenheart woman in a white room, news about UFO invasion, a bottle of red wine and a large window. More than a story, well craft of atmosphere. And the use of camera for define the pieces of drama more than to explore the room. Admirable cinematography, great job of Erin Ownbey. And the UFO as guiding presence more as menace. So, precision defines this beautiful short Sci Fi.

Fenestra takes place on the day of an alien invasion. A heartbroken woman, drinking wine in sorrow, receives a call from her cheating husband. But even at the end of the world, can she forgive him-and would it even matter?

This is a well-executed sci-fi short. The acting is solid, the cinematography is excellent, and the story is engaging. It even delivers a massive plot twist that I wasn't prepared for at all.

So, to put it briefly: I genuinely enjoyed watching this film. Considering its short runtime, it packs quite a lot into just a few minutes. I'd definitely recommend giving it a watch.
