The Wedding Trip

Not sure what's with these bad reviews, but they must have watch something other than this movie!

It's actually really good. It's funny. It kept me interested and entertained pretty much from beginning to end. It's up to par with any other light romantic comedy if you give it a chance. It's not from a billion dollar studio with million dollar mega stars, but these leads definitely have potential. Who knows, they could next! I'm looking forward to more of them for sure!!

Admittedly, some of the co stars may not be as experienced, doesn't mean bad, but it may be obvious to some. The production does not seem low budget, actors don't seem it either. All around it's definitely a good watch and very well done. Grab some popcorn and enjoy!

I thought this movie was very credible. It was cute, and I liked the leads. The ending was rushed and kind of contrived. The people that didn't like this movie have probably never fallen in love, or are just crabby for some other reason.

Several of the reviewers take themselves way too seriously. Thisis acomedy, not a documentary.

What a surprise! What started out as awkward and a bit cringey ended up as a hilarious rom com road trip movie with Jack and Samantha, an odd couple with some real chemistry who travel to a wedding while trying to figure each other out while both growing as individuals and exploring the possibility of being a couple. It was both laugh out loud funny and endearingly sweet. A lovely film about figuring out yourself and making the best of "interesting travel partners."

This low budget romcom is entirely watchable. It's not particularly good and it's not particularly terrible. It's a film you can watch while you eat. Or surfing the web (I did both as it streamed from Amazon Prime). The lead actress, Sydney Bakich, can act, and is frankly a bit charming. The lead actor... struggles to keep up. But he doesn't embarrass himself. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that everyone else in the cast was a friend or family member of the producers. The ending is weird. There's no getting around that fact. A solid OK.

An amazing movie that demonstrates real human character and emotion. The chemistry just sizzled and the facial expressions of Samantha were mesmerizing. Sure some of the scenes (bathroom) took me off guard but look at how Sam and Jack interact while hiding in the bathtub. It is endearing and subtlety compassionate. I think Ms Backich is a hidden gem of an actress and hope she makes more movies. The movie is hilarious, sensuous, provocative and too short. Jack was a bit of a scoundrel at times with his sarcasm; yet, despite their disagreements they never took it personally. A must watch movie if you like interactions.
