Rajni, a newly designated District Court Judge of Bhagalpur and son of MLA Narendra Sinha, gains popularity for announcing verdicts in one hearing. His father acts as a puppeteer for him, and his wife, Bulbul, escapes the house.
Rajni recalls his wedding night and blames his father for his wife's escape. Narendra appoints officer Shakti to look for his daughter-in-law. Bulbul's father seems surprisingly calm after hearing about his daughter's disappearance.
Bulbul's father reminds Narendra of the time when he warned him about Bulbul's devilry. Officer Shakti and his three constables, tap into Bulbul's Facebook chats and inform Narendra that Bulbul has eloped with username 'Justin Bieber'.
Rajni breaks down and isolates himself in his room, filled with prints of Bulbul's Facebook chats. Narendra comes to his room to console him, but one call from the CM changes the atmosphere and he commands Rajni to resume his job.
As Rajni resumes work, his case brings back horrific memories. Later, his colleague, Mishra Ji advises him to look at his wedding video to find 'Justin Bieber'. Rajni obliges and comes across a man whose face is hidden by a big teddy bear.
Rajni visits his in-laws and searches Bulbul's room. He finds a teddy bear with a greeting card. He then decides to take Inspector Shakti's help. Meanwhile, Dushrath collects some papers and goes away to an isolated place to burn them.
Rajni's reputation is at stake in the court. Bulbul's picture is made viral and the media comes to know that Narendra Sinha's daughter-in-law has run away with someone else. Shakti directs constables to find Rakesh and Bulbul ASAP.
To fight the media's backlash, Narendra sends his house help dressed up as Bulbul. Meanwhile, officer Shakti visits the Paan shop to discover more things about Rakesh.
Rakesh arrives at Narendra's house to confront him and records the whole incident. Rajni's lunatic side and mass reach of the video puts Narendra in trouble. Rajni spots a life-size banner of a Bhojpuri film launching Bulbul as a heroine.
Bulbul is shooting a film with Ravi Kishan. Rajni reaches the shoot location and insists on speaking with Bulbul. Bulbul, now Bijli, pretends to not know him. Rajni threatens everyone to commit suicide unless Bulbul plans to come back.
