Danmarks Radio produced this play as part of a massive honoring of "Dybbøldagen" and the 100th centenary of the Danish-German war in 1864. This day, from 08:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Denmark's only TV channel was devoted solely to the many official ceremonials.
