The girl the Julia character is based on can be scene is the flashback where Stan meets Beth in the Supermarket. She is standing in front of Beth at the checkout counter. She is also an extra in the bar scene.
Swooped was originally an 11 page short, written in the back of a Honda Civic on a road trip back from Orlando. Shaun and Joe decided to make it a feature when other things happened between them in their personal lives.
The first draft of the feature length script was written in two days during the '08 World Series between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Tampa Bay Rays.
