Great try but the actors acting are horrible, such wooden acting.
The sound engineering was terrible.
The one star is for the camera work and for a fun idea but it's a no from me.

Scream Legacy is a fan film that debuted on Youtube. With fan films they can be a major plus since many are done with passion and love for the material they are based on. In this case the Scream series. Legacy is a alright film. I was not blown away by it but its better than a lot of major horror films I seen. Its about Katie Palmer who is the daughter of Sydney Prescott, being stalked by a new killer in a Ghostface mask. Bodies and blood follow.
Scream Legacy is pretty average. Its not great, its not bad. Its watchable. But for a low budget fan service film, its pretty well done for what it is.

I couldn't believe this was a fan film. I heard it's from some of the same crew that did the Halloween fan film Halloween Night, so I was looking forward to checking this out and I'm glad I did!
This looks nothing like a fan film! Sure, there's a few shaky shots at times and lighting deformities, but it's not enough to ruin the movie for me. I think this crew has a bright future in filmmaking. Props to everyone involved.
Also, I won't give spoilers, but as a Scream fan I LOVED all the easter eggs and mentions throughout. It wasn't in your face, it was subtle enough that it felt real. Major props Zen House studios!

First of all, when I first watched the trailer of that fan made movie I really enjoyed it and I was kinda hyped, because it looked really good and kinda professional. The plot of the movie was very interesting, very mysterious and kinda different than any other scream movie. The storyline was kinda well-written and everything was well-explained, however there were some major plot holes during the movie. I have to admit, the characters weren't very interesting (except, Sidney's daughter), nor well-developed and most of them were kinda annoying. The filming location of the movie was just a small town in America. The actors and actresses did a great job of portraying their characters and their acting was descent. Sadly, the opening scene wasn't really good, because it was kinda boring and not intense, at all. Also, there weren't any intense scenes nor chase scenes. The killcount wasn't really bloody and most kills were done off-screen. The killer/killers reveal (3rd act) was probably the best part of the movie, because it was definitely unpredictable and very enjoyable. Overall, it was a really good fan made movie, full of easter eggs and I would probably recommend it to any other scream fan. Last but not least, I'm definitely looking forward for a sequel...
Die hard Scream fan here and been following the movie for a while. It was worth the wait! Great acting, music, cinematography!
Loved the killer reveal and ties to the original too!
