I really do, I hate it. I have the aknowledge the fact that it is a good anime in terms of story, chacacters, music, action and all, but man do I hate it. The thing I hate the most is the fact that regardless of the fact Ash has lived trough all the movies and Tv shows, he does not age one bit. In fact, he even got younger! This makes no sense! Some people say it's because he met Ho-Oh, I say it's because they want to keep him young in order for the kid to always be the protagonist. People get tired of things if they always stay the same, you have to age him up one day! I would love to see him become an adult and have to train new generations of trainers.
The first 3 episodes were great overall, but episode 4 takes a turn and ultimately becomes a giant ad to get more people to play Pokémon GO. If they focused more on plot and character development, along with staying consistent with some of the previously set rules in the Pokémon world (i.e. Battling wild Pokémon before being able to catch them), it would be rated it much higher.
First off, let's get the negatives out of the way - ash seems really dumb; Goh catches Pokémon with no battling required.
Right now for the brief review....take it at face value. It is Pokémon and for kids and it is enjoyable. We see so many new & different locations, as well as meeting some fun and likeable characters along the way. Great to see all tue Pokémon that feature - both old and new creatures.
Forget the haters and give it a go. At 20mins an episode you won't regret it. It sets the scene nicely for follow on masters series and helps add bit of context to later films.
I grew up with Pokémon blue and red, but I am really enjoying the new stuff. The battles are exciting and let's not forget the ever faithful Pikachu! An excellent travel companion for Ash.

The concept of traveling to every region in one show has a LOT of potential but, this series is pretty dull.
For the most part, the only good things about it are taking screenshots of it and using it as background noise.

Finished total of 136 episodes, one of the best season for me - just second to sun&moon / alola region. Better improvement in animation and sound quality. Although not a fan of few filler episodes such recaps or mini stories.
The battles were significantly better especially the final battles resemble movie quality fight scene. Huge fan of the characters development especially for Go and Koharu. This season mainly focuses on Satoshi's (Ash) journey to victory in high pokemon master tournament as well as on Go's journey to meet mew and catch pokemons. The inclusion of Koharu's journey to be invested on eevee's evolution was a great addition to this season.
Huge fan of Go's adventure and his trials to reach mew. Love the idea of pokemon masters tournament, gave us few nostalgic scenes and reintroduction of few old characters. Both the intro and ending songs were cute and highly memorable. More into action and adventure. Love the adventurous part of this season - it was thrilling and very engaging.
Highly recommended.
