    Outstanding!

This was a fantastically well-done series that I hope will continue exploring varying themes related to the history and experiences of Black/African Americans discussed in greater & greater detail. Speaking as a cisgender, African-American/Black-American woman, the series was even hugely informing for me personally. I love learning about my roots however I can, especially since the matriarch of my paternal side of family has been gone 7+ years now, leaving us at almost 104 years old. As an educational tool for non-BIPOC, it simply MUST go on! If people can't develop empathy, understanding, and appreciation of/for the diversity around them after watching even this short series, then they are truly hopeless, soulless, dysfunctional human beings. Dynamic.

Excellent show, just what America needs

This show is beautiful, the kind of reminders we need of how powerful black people are, not just surviving (against all odds), but thriving. No, the struggle is nowhere near being over; but I love seeing positivity out of the negativity heaped on people at turn. The music, the culture and the brotherhood. Thank you for making this show, may it live long and be seen by many people, both black and white.

    Sheer propagands

Terrible series and what's worse ABC airs trans propaganda saturday morning during what used to be cartoon time to infect our youth with the social contagion that is eroding society. Entirely lopsided, does not show any of the youth that detransitioned or were disappointed with extreme decisions that were made during their dysphoria. Full of even internal inconsistencies. They state that trans is common and always has been and then in a later segment they show the different GEN's and how it has gone from 3% to teens to now almost 20% of the youngest generation identifying as LGBTQ. They definitely have no interest in telling 2 sides of the story and every interest in painting traditionalists as outdated haters. Gets a little old ABC.

Love Seeing Representation of Talented and Beautiful Black Women

This show is a great representation of so much talent. I love seeing these beauties. The show is informative and gives insight to the careers and lives of these awesome actresses.

    Amazing show

Every week it just keeps getting better and better. This show is beautifully shot, executed and presented. The stories are so amazing and I learn something new every week. I hope ABC turns it into a weekly series. It's not just black history, it's American history. So well done.
