While I appreciated the short lived reboot from about a decade ago, this bests it in every way. Great ridiculous story with some classic Beavis and Butthead scenarios. Mike Judge has outdone himself.
I watched the last movie right before watching this and the sense of humour is just as it was back in the 90s. In fact I can even say that I laughed way more during this movie than I did in its predecessor.
The story line had some definite similarities to the last movie, but the animation looked different for some reason. Oddly enough Beavis and Butt-head looked the same, but all the other characters looked like they were from a different movie. It didn't look like the class Mike Judge animation, but the laughs were still there regardless.
All in all, if you're a fan of classic B&B you'll love this.

Nobody goes into this movie expecting much in the realm of intellectual enlightenment, and proudly this movie delivers. The general theme is similar to "Beavis and Butthead Do America," in that the two idiots end up on an adventure that they are too stupid to understand. Nevertheless the gags and situations are pretty darn funny, and Mike Judge has done a good job of bringing the humor into a modern context.
This time around the duo are a bit more intelligent than they were back in the day (not by much). Their vocabulary is a bit more advanced as is their critical thinking. Beavis even shows a few signs of personal growth. Also a tad bit is revealed regarding family and personal history.
All told this movie does the franchise justice. If you were dumb enough to enjoy the classic series, you will be happy to see this new addition to their moronic exploits.

Laughed my backside off. Long time fan. If you are not Beavis and Butthead lover don't bother watching. I am tipping only fans will get it. It is totally immature, dumb and bloody brilliant.
As other people have written, unlike many modern reboots and sequels, it's like a time portal to the '90s because Mike Judge changed nothing. I have rarely laughed as much at a comedy from the last couple of decades during this movie's first half. It lags a bit in the second half, but even during those mundane moments I was pleased to waste time with my favorite morons.
I was 15 when I discovered them on Liquid TV when they were 15, so it was... haunting... to see Judge's representation of them as they would appear as my age today. It was brief, yet haunting. But decades of idiotic living would truly cause that appearance. It's "the faces of meth" without the meth, I guess.
Great job, Mike Judge.
