    Dark, sinister, and beautifully executed

Tearsucker is NOT an easy film to watch. It's a very dark and disturbing film that explores some powerful issues and does so through potent writing and execution. Delivering tbe creepy tale of a serial killer who feeds off the pain and trauma of others through their tears, Tearsucker sizzles its way to its emotionally charged ending like a pressure cooker. Allison Walter and Sam Brittan deliver two of the most stunning performances of the year and I'm very interested in seeing more from this talented cast and the filmmakers. This is a great film that takes the audience into some dark places and back again.

Do not waste your time. I did and I regret it.

Horrible disgusting unintelligible story line. Acting fair with the exception of Emily Yetter. She is a cut above. This not much else to say because there was not much of a story, plot, and subplot. Very little character development. But in order to have this published I need to write more. Okay, the tempo of the move was almost non existent. The scenes were way too long and did very little to move the story forward. I understand that this is a low low budget movie. But it's a shame they, who every they are, could have done a lot more if they'd started with a good story. As it was I am guessing most of the movie was done without permits. The quality was very poor.

    weird concept

Heartbroken Lilly (Allison Walter) encounters Tom (Sam Brittan) in the park. He seems to be a nice guy and she falls for him. Unbeknownst to her, he is a psycho addicted to the taste of suffering women's tears.

This is a weird concept, but I like the strange uniqueness. I get what the movie is trying to do, but it really needs two more things. First, Tom needs a dungeon. It doesn't need to be crazy, but it does need to be a creepy basement. I would think that his 'kills' would be more gruesome. That part needs some work. Second, her previous relationship needs to be shown. This needs flashbacks. The big climatic moment should be a reveal of how she killed her abusive boyfriend. She isn't the shrinking victim that everybody assumes her to be. The concept is interesting but the movie is a little undercooked.
