Undertaker

I feel like people arent rating this episode based on the actual episode. I never watched this show and in this first episode i pretty much learned nothing, felt nothing and it was just boring , hopefully it gets better but this ep wasnt it.

Initial thoughts about the characters are that the main character seems like a person who wants good in a evil world , just like her father probably did. I have nothing against this but its a bit meh.

The 86 thing isnt explained at all and pretty much nothing is explained at all , its just overall a bad first experience for someome who would want to get into this anile.

Plot: very intriguing, even if not everything is already clear. I like this thriller and mystery side of this anime. Or at least of this first episode. I have hope that it will become very interesting.

Animation: very good, nothing to say against it. Really.

Drawings: very well done, well defined and clean. I really like them.

Conclusion: if you like sci.fi and mystery things, I deem that you have to give a try to this anime. Let's see how it will continue and how it will be developed.

Not a great first episode, had me confused what was going on, currently re-watching it after finishing episode 11. I do wish they did a Berserk with this and made the first part of the episode a sequel to episode 11, I would recommend watching it afterwards anyway if just for one thing that is said at the beginning and the general vibe of it. That said, you probably want to know why I'm writing this.. Simply put, give it a shot. It might take a few episodes for it to hit you but when it does I think you'll find one of the gems of 2021. Beautifully animated, scored and hell the CGI is very very nice too. The characters are cool, the emotions real and I can't imagine there are many who wouldn't be itching to see what happens next. Rate it better than Vivy, you'll understand about half way through. Enjoy.

While the premise of 86's first episode seems promising, it's quite difficult to understand what's really going on. I suppose it's not really meant to work as a standalone episode, so I'm sure things will quickly become clearer with the next few episodes.

It does look very pretty, at least.
