In Haifa, 1948, Ahmad plays soccer in a local club in his town. He gets an offer to play for the Palestinian National Team after a wonderful performance in a friendly match. On his way back home, Ahmad and his two friends face soldiers blocking their way back and see the people of the city fleeing. Ahmad returns to his home seeing his own family leaving the city to seek a safer place as well. Ahmad leaves the city with his family, leaving his home, friends, and most importantly his dream behind. Finally, Ahmad unites the refugees with a soccer match in the refugee camp.

Uninteresting

I was actually excited about this one at first but it turned up to be one of the most boring things I have ever watched... a complete stinker........ devoid of any kind of creativity, the writing is really weak.. bad acting, stilted dialogue, poor directing.. full of clichés and everything was just predictable... it felt more like a school project... I expect a movie about the Palestinian cause to be much less shallow than this.. obviously the filmmakers needed to do more in depth research and read more about the Nakba or maybe simply think of different ways to address a western audience about this matter.
