The project started as a web-series of 50 episodes that were published on MySpace and on the website of French TV channel Arte in October 2008. Internet users were invited to react by posting their own video-blog that were broadcast on the TV channel Arte. The web-series had over 400,000 views online. The film premiered on Arte on May 11, 2009.
