This is not like mythbusters, more like a motor show with experiments with ideas from.movies and myths.
But it's still good and worth seeing.
Liked Bisi never seen him before, he was great and Tory from Mythbusters, Faye seems talented and good at her work but sorry I think she will grow into the role.if the show goes on.

I love this new take on the Mythbusters Brand!
Having Tori return with his previous experience on the original show plus with a new team brings a fresh take with an original authentic feel to the show!
Keeping the original Narrator Robert is a nice touch.
I love how you can tell the Faye and Bisi are clearly inspired by the original shows first team and build team. You can tell they all love what they do by the way they all get along.
I can't wait to see this show progress into its own brand while honoring the show it came from.

Classic Mythbusters was great entertainment. Likable stars answering questions many people have, like what happens when a gun goes off in an airplane. In a typical episode they would have two teams pursuing two myths. The chemistry and natural acting ability, coupled with creative solutions to everyday questions, made the show fun to watch.
This reboot is not exactly great entertainment. It features likable stars, including Tory from the original Mythbusters, but the questions they are answering are questions few people have. Did the Fast and Furious 8 turbo hack work as depicted? I saw the movie, am a car guy, and never gave that a second thought. Would the car from the 1960s cartoon the Flintstones work? Uh, it's a cartoon. Not exactly a myth.
While likable individually, there is no chemistry between the cast members. The presentation is the main lead, who is clearly knowledgeable, telling the other two what to do. It would be like Grant telling Kari and Tory what to do. Gone is the group creativity of the original show. Worse, the script demands frequent emotional responses to banal things. It all feels forced, all the more so because the cast aren't likely to win any acting awards.
Since they have a small cast, there is one myth per episode. This slows the show down. Most of the runtime is watching three people doing manual labor and pretending to be amazed/scared/shocked at not much. Not exactly thrilling.
Overall the show is passable, especially if you're into cars, but the similarities to the original Mythbusters is largely limited to Tory, the announcer, and the show name.

In general the show is entertaining, however In one episode they spent the whole effort making 3D print vans, chopping vans and testing aerodynamics. A shorter more aerodynamic van existed from 1995-1999 then got a slight bend at the windshield for 1999-2006 before it was part of what bankrupted Pontiac out of existence. People buy full size vans because they need the full size for both cargo and people (enclosed!) google 1997 Pontiac transport and you will see an aerodynamic "mini" van ... that no one wanted. The 2.7% gas savings (highway only!) was not worth the sacrifice in ... why they got a van in the first place !!! It's about function not form and fuel economy. And of the day, people and cargo don't get moved in FIATS !!!!!
I have watched every episode of the original and every released episode of this version. Pros: the familiar narrator is great.
Cons: the cast has no chemistry. On their own they seem interesting, but together it feels forced and they over explain every concept to each other. Bisi comes off as condescending.
They need a new director, lose the feigned excitement and inflection, and stop explaining every detail like they are teaching it to toddlers.
