A Great Look at the Most Import Part of the Process

As Robert himself says, if you want to get better at directing, you need to learn editing. El Jefe takes you through a couple of scenes and shows some basic editing tricks that anyone can use. Having been a huge fan of RR since 2003, the biggest shock to me is that he now edits inside a room of his house, rather than the lair he shows off in "Inside Troublemaker Studios". I used to drool over that setup and now he just edits in a room of his house and the edit bay doesn't look much different than what most people could come up with.

Also, while Robert does use Avid Media Composer, all the tips he shows can be used in any software, including Resolve. He focuses on the theory of editing, rather than what buttons to push.
