Went through several drafts from December 2018 to March 2021.
Lee came up with the idea of "using cartoon characters as toys and throwing them around into various situations", and immediately began writing the script.
Originally written under the title of "Boil", the film was written as a loose parody of Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988), incorporating characters from various animated films and television shows. After finishing several drafts, Lee completed the final script, containing 78 pages, replacing most of the copyrighted characters with original ones.
This is the feature film directorial debut of Jacob S. Lee.
This will be the first cel-animated film since The Last Belle (2011).
