All the names are honoring to action heroines or action women characters, like Lara (for "Lara Croft"), Mila (for "Milla Jovovich"), Gina (for "Geena Davis"), Xena (for "Xena" from the TV Shows), except the villain Michaela Tomasi.
The main titles were designed by the director Rubén Arnaiz and all newspapers are, of course, fakes.
Only one scene was cut and has not appeared in any version (Original or Director's Cut): a dialogue between Gloria with Lara and Mila. This scene is included in the DVD's special features.
This is the first collaboration between Rubén Arnaiz and Andrew Dasz. Dasz was in charge of the martial arts choreography, as well as training the actresses. Lastly, he reserves a cameo in the film.
