Shaky!!!

Had high hopes this would be better than the story plot suggested but it did little for me in the end, probably not helped by the opening credits and a news report, which just dragged on. A shaky screen and vibrating effects didn't really help either, to be fair. I won't say don't give it a chance because it is watchable; it just doesn't work. It is not just the shakiness and vibrating effects either that harm it but also the scenes with little light or that appear to be reddish as it kind of sandbags the action. I do not know what the team was looking for with these effects, as they did not do the film any favours and bought little to it. Did they not believe in their own story? That could be it as some of his cannibals came off more as zombies than anything.

Essentially Unwatchable

This "movie" is so "stylized" that it seems like the opening credits never end. Apparently the idea of using a tripod never occurred to the filmmaker. The film is purposely jumpy. The majority of the outdoor scenes were filmed in near monochrome with a dark magenta filter over the scene. When any sort of action occurs the camera movement ant "effects" make it impossible to see what's going on.

The dialogue is senseless and does little to move the story along. The news reader mispronounces "Arkansas", and it was funny, but I'm certain it was unitentional.

Move along. There is nothing to see here.
