    Only the Top 24 (20 for season 1) Contestants of each season, as named in the startup credits for each episode is listed here, as the bulk of the show revolves around these Top 24.



    At the end of each elimination episode, a short writeup listed what affect the show had with the eliminated contestant.

    Very few of the Eliminated Contestants have not had there lives impacted by been on the show. Most quietly returned home without much more public appearances, however a few were offered and took up positions of Assistant/Trainee Chef or likewise in restaurants of a Guest Chef that was impressed by their ability. Others made personal changes to there lives and have changed profession or even opened there own restaurant.

    Some have even become somewhat of a local hero within their community's.



    Julie Goodwin Won Season One.

    As the Winner Julie has: Released her own Cookbook titled Our Family Table(April 2010). Released a CD of Christmas songs and recipes(2010). A regular appearance in a weekly cooking segment on the Today program. Involved in a segment on The 7PM Project where families were able to enter a contest to have Goodwin cook at their house live on television.



    Runner Up, Poh Ling Yeow, has a Weekly cooking show 'Poh's Kitchen' on ABC, and is also set to release her own cookbook.

    Third Place, Chris Badenoch, has released his Beer Recipe cookbook 'The Entire Beast' (Penguin Books).

    Top 6, Lucas Parsons, Now runs a café in NSW.

    Andre Ursini runs a restaurant in Adelaide.

    Trevor Forster runs a restaurant in Rockingham.



    Adam Liaw Won Season Two.

    As the Winner Adam has: Released his own book is called Two Asian Kitchens(April 2011). Worked in commercial kitchens - including Tetsuya's in Sydney and Flower Drum in Melbourne. Planning to open his first izakaya-style restaurant in Surry Hills in August or September 2011.



    Marion Grasby has released her book 'Marion: Recipes and stories from a hungry cook' and is also a columnist for 'MasterChef Magazine'.

    Jimmy Seervai is rumoured to be opening his restaurant 'Spice Kitchen' in Sydney soon.(April 2011)
