We meet our friends, the four prehistoric rats, who are fast asleep in their burrow. Suddenly, the ground starts to shake. Is it an earthquake? No, it's a troupe of dinosaurs with really long necks who are stomping around outside. What a noisy bunch they are.

The rats continue searching for a quiet spot, but run into more dinosaurs. This bunch all have horns on their heads, except for the smallest one. It doesn't even have a name. The first one to find a fossil of it gets to name it. But what exactly is a fossil?
