Not that interesting that you might expect, the story is very slow and it fails to keep you watching or waiting for the next episode. There is simply too much talk and very little action, if you are looking for a series that keeps you watching, this is not a good choice. I give it a maximum 6 out of 10.
Jeyran tells a fictional story from the historical events after the death of Amir Kabir and focuses on the fate of Jeyran, one of the concubines of Naser al-Din Shah's harem. The series depicts a forbidden love, power struggles in the court, political conspiracies and intrigues, and a picture of court life in the Qajar era.
Jeyran is a well-made and entertaining series that, despite some weaknesses, has managed to attract many viewers thanks to its strong direction, acceptable acting, and engaging storytelling. If you are looking for a series that tells a romantic and adventurous story in the setting of the Qajar era, Jeyran can be a good choice for you.

Like the Shahrzad series, you are supposed to get excited about watching a dreamy love in the first episode, and in the next episodes, all your feelings and moods will be kicked out. Do not waste your time.
In the beginning of the series, most of the events are based on reality but as the series moves on, you start to realize that a lot of things are inaccurate compared to reality. For instance, the character Siavosh is completely made up and the war between Ghajar and Zand didn't actually happen during the rule of Naseredinshah. What is also very disappointing is the fact that this series is called a historical one and more than half of the events are not even close to reality. And don't even get me started on the ending, I won't spoil it for anyone but it was horrible and again very off and inaccurate. If you're looking for a historical one, this is not for you but it makes for a nice fictional romance.
Beautiful story, just be patient to get amazed! The story only starts to get exciting from the 4th episode. Don't just give up in the beginning! Cause you will lose a lot. I particularly enjoy the music. The series begins with some notable shortcomings, but I very much look forward to the story in progress, the idea of the story is very thrilling.
