Average. Juhi Chawala deserved something big for come back. Ayesha Julka,Tamanaha,Kritika, soha were ok ok type.they deliberately left the story in midway to make another season, which was not at all required. Story starts on good but later on it becomes boring and in the last two episodes it is again kind of interesting. Like I was literally thinking why they are showing the side stories of the friends which was too boring. It is one time watch only.
These days I dont know why every web series need LGBT angle. Story is confusing sometimes. Makers had such good artist still they didnt meet my expectations. Trailer was more good than original series.

Web series review: Hush Hush Streaming on Prime Video
#sanjuzzreviews #HushHushOnPrime #hushhush #primevideo
Directed by Tanuja Chandra Hush Hush is a strong female oriented crime thriller.
4 bff's - Juhi Chawla (Ishi), Shahana Goswami( Zaira), Soha Ali Khan ( Saiba) & Kritika Kamra (Dolly) from influential backgrounds attend a high profile party where a murder is committed by one of them. Ishi is also found dead later that night under suspicious circumstances. The other 3 friends are slowly sucked into a web of blackmail, lies and deceit which wrecks havoc in their so called idyllic lives.
Was Ishi murdered or did she commit suicide?
What were the circumstances that lead to her grim fate. These are the questions that the series attempts to answer.
Delicate topics like same sex relationships, child abuse, dysfunctional families , women's empowerment & toxic patriarchy have been well presented. Hard hitting stuff .. Kudos to the director!!
Casting is bang on , all 4 protagonists have played their parts well. Ayesha Jhulka(Meera) as Juhi's childhood friend and Karishma Tanna (Geeta) as a no nonsense Haryanvi cop investigating the case also play an important part in the narrative.
On the flip side the makers have kept the story open ended when there was no reason to do so, thereby paving the way for a second season!!
Overall Hush Hush has strong content and definitely bingewatch worthy. Go for it, You won't be disappointed!!
3.5 /5 stars from me .. adios 🙂!!

Sameer lodaya
The series is a good blend of 4 friends along with their own life's
The series smoothly sails for 7 episodes for this season where the content is good and how these 4 friends stands for each other with their personal chaos in life
The characters designed were outclassed and all have played their roles magnificently kritika has played like a hero with sahana who supported her well..all the four looked gorgeous..ayesha made a good come back..never the less the super cop played by karishma was commendable
All the directors made fine print with good aesthetics and classy art work..this series is unlike the other girls gang series which is bold in all sense here they are neat and clean
The bad part is that they have smartly kept the mystery open for another season.. the bing watchers like me gets disgusted to wait for another season and precisely now a days every weekend there is a new series which washes the memory and interest for your another season.

The story of this series is pretty old and nothing unique.
The series starts off in the most snail slow pace i have ever seen in recent times. It will test your patience like anything for atleast 4 episodes. To add salt to inury, the conversations are so damn boring and uninteresting that atleast in the 1st episode before the plot is established in the final few mins, you will doze off. They have literally stitched the boring moments one after the other. You will also find those typical feminist conversations like talks about v**ina, talks about men etc.
The climax is bizzare and leaves the series open for a s2 which i will not watch because it tested my patience so bad that i felt i wasted my time watching this series.
Watch only if you can bear the excruciatingly painful pace of this series.

Although the reviews were bad still I watched this series because of the star studded cast.
The series started off well, and it was quite engaging. I kept wondering why did people give bad review. But then I think around episode five the director started smoking cheap stuff 😂😂
The story is everywhere. There are so many loophole that viewers will scratch their heads to understand what is happening. Maybe the writer changed... One time Meera asks for Ishi's help, and is all lovey dovey, but in the next episode she does not want to do anything with Ishi.
It makes me wonder why do they force LGBT in every movie or programme?
