    Melted my heart

Such a beautiful movie. Lovely plot showing the determination of a boy. Heart warming relationship between brother and sister. At first you'll smile then later on you'll dive deep into emotions. Pinch of romance , comedy and melodrama. Perfect movie to watch in a summer afternoon. It was worth my time. It amazes me that its based on a true story. So much appreciation and applause to the whole team. Thank you for this wonderful creation.

A fiction story base on a real train station

Many people thought its real story but its a fact that its fiction. However the story is slight above nice but some parts are still illogical which the director and writer had ignored.

If the story is nicer and paid attention to details, it wuld be 9/10. But the movie overall quality is just only 7/10 which is still better than most Korean standards.

    Brother-sister winning duo

I wasn't expecting this to be so sweet and heartwarming and innocent, but it's set in the 80s, so maybe that has something to do with it, and to be about such a cute brother-sister dynamic is also unusual for South Korea. But what I wasn't expecting it to go from that into teen love and then into trauma-core. I didn't see the twist about Bookyung coming but I thought the transition was done so well and then it was interesting to discover and make sense of all those things in the past but the dad was too much. I get his twisted thinking but to not even be aware of his son's progress in school is just downright neglect. Damn, those old-school fathers were something else.

Wasn't too keen on the love story, I felt it didn't really belong and I didn't feel it, I am not a fan of the combative type of romance cause that never makes sense to me in real life. But oh well, that is kind of a trope in Korean cinema as well, I have seen it several times and never liked it.

Joonkyung looks a little too old to be a high-school junior. But I know people used to age/mature faster in the past. Maybe that was a sneaky choice? I don't know.

The best part for me was the brother-sister chemistry. That could've been the whole movie for all I care. A much shorter one hopefully. Cause I felt the length a little towards the end.

A film that will touch your heart

Set in a small rural village, we get immersed in the story of a young math genius that wants to build a train station.

This movie is a mix of romcom, drama, and slice-of-life genres, combined in a harmonious way.

This movie is heartwarming and beautiful. The story has so much depth that it feels like it makes you feel what the characters feel.

As someone who grew up in a small village, I can relate so much to this movie. Daily transportation can take a big chunk of your life when you live in rural areas with little to no public transportation.

The acting is perfect, all main and supporting actors did a great job on conveying their roles.

The main leads have beautiful chemistry too, with many hilarious moments!

    In conclusion, a classic!

Miracles are when you have the ability and don't forget to provide answers to others' seemingly inconspicuous inconveniences.

This is a small-scale story. You might wonder if it's based on a true story, but it is indeed a real one. It's set in a small town in North Gyeongsang Province in the 1980s, a place with railway tracks passing through but no station. The protagonist, Joon-kyeong, may not have known how much his dream would change the lives of many, but determination finds a way. The consensus among the villagers is to build a station, but even more crucial is getting a train to cooperate. So, the latter part of the film is about the efforts Joon-kyeong must make, which is much like our everyday lives. When you voice your dreams, there's always someone who resonates with you, but you also have to be the one to face the challenges and persevere. Having the ability to help others is what attracts people to help you.
