The Bandit Queen

Bat Masterson interviews Joe Boot for a newspaper column.

The subject is Pearl Hunt, the Bandit Queen. She was a beguiling creature. Pretty and at a young age she married an abusive husband.

Pearl ran away and got a job as a cook in a boarding house near a mine. She was a fiesty one but then the mine closed.

It could not had come at a worse time for Pearl. She needed money for her ailing mother.

So Pearl and Joe Boot decided to hold up s stagecoach. Her activities quickly gained notoriety.

When both were caught by law enforcement. Pearl blamed Joe Boot for everything.

There is a lot of conjecture here. Some part of Pearl's life are sketchy. I still think some of it looks cheapy and it is all perfunctory.
