Was announced to be based on the non-fiction book "De Rêves et de Papiers: 547 Jours avec les Mineurs Isolés Étrangers" by Rozenn Le Berre, but the finished film is a fictional narrative and does not credit the book.
Was initially scheduled to air on French television on October 19th 2020, but was pushed back after channel France 2 chose to air the film Once in a Lifetime (2014) in its place, in reaction to the brutal murder of teacher Samuel Paty three days prior.
