Enjoyed it but it's one of the weaker episodes.

I like pretty much every episode of this show so I didn't entirely dislike this one. However I'd probably rank it in the bottom 5 or so of all the episodes. The twist was weak and it wasn't overly funny either.

    Really enjoyed this episode.

Reece was amazing as usual. Really liked Steve's Character and the backstory about his family. The twist was good. Adrian Dunbar plays Adrian Dunbar brilliantly 😂

Not as good as last week, better than the first two

Which is to say a lo as "Simon says" was very good. Although they completely underused Adrian Dunbar and the twist could've been seeded a LOT better. I still laughed out loud multiple times, felt uneasy and had a hell of a time. So, yeah. All around really good episode. A few elements need work but thoroughly enjoyable. Can't wait for next week!...

    Adrian Dunbar

I don't understand why people seem to not like this episode. It's hilarious, and Adrian Dunbar was a brilliant idea, as well as Pauline McLynn. I liked the twist, I don't know what people expect- Was this one not "weird" enough for you? Did you want more panto bs? You don't like dry humor? Someone called it a "weird Line of Duty plug?" I don't understand that at all. It's ADRIAN DUNBAR. Not everything is about Line of Duty. He's got a rich background of experience and he's a wonderful choice for this kind of episode. He was brilliant as this version of himself. I'm trying to understand what would make someone not like it or not get it. I've tried watching it from the point of view of someone who didn't care for it, but I still don't understand.

A supporting actor arrives on set and is ushered into a nearby trailer to wait for his scene. It turns out that the trailer is temporarily rented from a family still in it, and a rather eccentric one at that.

A good portrayal of the position of extras and bit actors in the film industry and excellent acting by Reece Shearsmith. The episode builds to an increasingly thick atmosphere until the disappointing final twist. "Hurry Up and Wait" works as a TV drama and critique of the film industry, but with an unconvincing final twist, it seriously fails as an episode of "Inside No. 9".

    7/10.
