I loved this documentary and am looking forward to the other two.
Interviews with the main players are blended with well acted scenes to give an interesting insight into the underworld of Liverpool without being too bleak.
Well directed and written I look forward to more work from this talented young director.

The true crime aspect of the documentary was very interesting, however I wasn't a fan of the reenactment of the stories being told, I thought it was unnecessary.
Docs try various styles to tell their story & was a bit meh with drama scenes but interviews are aces.
London geezer charismatic addict reminded me of a fair few fellas in the contacts list over the years, was lolling and disgusted at same time. Liverpool comes across as the real winner, treated terribly for years by the government but the people overcome. People's views on the drug industry prolly won't be changed but i learned a lot more about the mentality of the people of Liverpool criminals, civilians & the rehabilitated and was mostly all very positive.

I only managed to watch about a half hour of this before switching off. From my perspective it was about drug dealers boasting about their chosen profession, never a thought to the countless thousands of people whose deaths from their product were needless but lucrative.
I don't know how they can look in the mirror far less laugh and joke on tv.

Brilliant and exactly how I remember it to be at the time. A great trip down memory lane showing both the humorous and devastating effects of drug use.
Not sure it was supposed to make me miss Liverpool but it did (I moved overseas years ago).
I've been listening to Scouse House ever since watching it.
