    • Trivia
Among the symbols on the wall in the ritual room, there is the Elder Sign from the Necronomicon, found in H.P Lovecraft stories, which is used for protection against the Outer Gods or the Great Old Ones, as well as the name HASTUR spelled out in the font from the Necronomicon in the Evil Dead films. In the opening intro, when you see the three floating hands, there is a quick flash of symbols from the font of the Necronomicon in the Evil Dead films as well, this translates to "Hail Hastur" and each installment of the series contains a different word or phrase that can be translated, and that will pertain to something in that particular episode.
    • Quotes

Narrator: Greetings listeners and fellow children of the night. The tale you are about to be told comes from the dark underbelly of a place so heinous, so steeped in blood and chaos, that most believe it to be nothing more than a myth, a legend that lies in wait for unwitting prey to cross its dark veil, only to be devoured by the limitless unknown. A forbidden zone where all manner of beast and fiend roam the edges of humanities dominion. A place so devoid of hope, reasoning, or comprehension, that most people shudder at the thought of even speaking its name aloud, and so they've taken to simply calling it... Town Z.

    • Crazy credits
The dragonfly that gets a closeup is credited as Cyrus the Dragonfly. An ongoing joke in a number of Travis Darkow's other films, where an animal or insect gets an "and introducing" credit.
