At the 2013 Los Angeles Cinema Film Festival of Hollywood, the film won Best Narrative Feature, Best Director (Directed by Brett Donowho and Bernie Van De Yacht), Best Actor (Ryan Donowho), Best Actress (Giovanna Zacarías), Best Supporting Actor (Brett Donowho), and Best Special Effects Makeup (Diana Campos).
Brett Donowho and Angel McCord were nominated for Best Actor and Best Actress respectively for their performances as husband and wife in Salvation U.S.A. (2013) at the 2013 Madrid International Film Festival.
