This movie is so good and very cleverly written and well-made. The shots from the film are good and the storyline is well-paced. It most definitely is worth the watch and I can tell that it took passion, time, and commitment to finish this film. The final product is amazing and I cannot wait for, hopefully, more like this. I love thriller films and this one was so innovative and creative. The synopsis itself was an interesting premise and the movie delivered. I think that the way the story is structured is super interesting and rewards the viewer for paying attention to details. Again, very well written and excellent job!
A weak storyline, an unconvincing cast, and visuals that look like they were shot on an iPhone 4-this film struggles on every front. It's neither a proper documentary nor a structured movie. Instead, it feels like a random mix of scenes stitched together in an attempt to appear complex or artistic. Unfortunately, it fails to deliver anything meaningful. I genuinely feel like I wasted my time watching it-and I'd strongly suggest you don't waste yours. I would suggest not to waste your time. And I don't even know if it was a real story or not. I did try searching for Glitch app. So you don't have to do that even.
Phenomenal film angles and camera shots. The product came just as it was advertised. It was thrilling, and on the edge of my seat! Would love to see this story structure and film dynamic more in the main industry with bigger budget movies. There are many different leads that causes one to wonder why social media big tech companies are actually evil and want to see society crumble especially the average American jane and john smith. This movie further supports my conspiracy theories that TikTok is evil and does not care about my feelings. I don't want TikTok or any other social media having that much control in my life, this society is turning into alien controlled beings controlled by electronic idol worship!
I enjoyed seeing this! It was really great and had me on the edge of my seat. I was excited to see this and am thrilled to tell you that this is a great movie to watch. Casting was also 5 star!! Everyone did a great job! It was really cool to see this and see what indie film makers can do with limit resources and during COVID too!! My goodness - what a cool tech film with high paced energy and lots of tech things. The people who were in it were famous. I enjoyed seeing famous people willing to do indie work. What an adventure life is and cool to have little movies like this to adventure along with and see. Woohoo!
There's a TED talk of the director of Finding Nemo Andrew Stanton talking about storytelling and how audiences like to be given the pieces and not necessarily the finished answer. So in his example, he called it the rule of 2 + 2. Give the audience 2 and 2 -- they'll figure out that it equals four and be happy they figured it out.
This film puts that to the test. All the pieces are there but it takes till the midway point until they start fitting together. This makes for an uneven first half until you figure out what's going on. Then it picks up but doesn't stop being choppy and jarring at times.
It's the writing that carries this film even to its detriment. If you're fine watching a bunch of people talking, then it's great, but the writing never gets a chance to breathe with moments where you can think about what's happening.
Ten stars because I was super impressed with how the story was told and would love for this structure to get used more beyond just a business drama like this. I probably will have to rewatch this a time or two more to catch everything.
The filmmaking backing up all of that writing is simple, but nothing special -- it all comes down to this film being a screenwriter showing out.
