The Good Mom

Finally the characters are coming together. There is an emotional motive of an episode. The laughing track may not be the best choice. But it's cool to try new stuff and stick with the one that works well. The show isn't quite as smooth or has the same pace as HIMYM, but maybe that isn't a bad thing. It might find it's own pace and character development. I have slight hope after this episode. The mother in the beginning of every show sitting alone on the sofa and talking slowly in a sitcom that's very time limited isn't probably the optimal way. Ignoring that fact, rest 18 minutes were pretty good.

The best thing about How I metr your mother was that the show didn't have unnecessary laughing track for every single thing in the show. The first 5 minutes were totally intolerable due to extensive fake laugh track. Ending with Music was great. Instead of trying to introduce new characters, the show should focus on building story around the existing ones.

Because I loved HIMYM so much I'm willing to try to make it through the first season, hoping it'll some how improve; but it seems to only be getting worse. It truly is everything bad about sitcoms. All the general criticisms of sitcoms are compiled into this one show. So, I guess that's pretty impressive.

The starting of every episode is so unbelievably bad, the middle part is comparatively better, in the end they try to make it emotional, I mean where is the comedy? They have planned good story for every episode but if you are making a situational comedy show like how I met your mother, friends,etc there should be really good one liners, jokes and stuff in every scene but it's not the case with this show. Even Hilary looks bored in every episode because the writers are so boring!
