A shiny bright diamond of an episode

Cal's opening backstory starts this fantastic eisode off to a fire racking start. You feel the sparks and the emotions from the awesome soundtrack that bleeds through the wracking tension between these friends. The opener had me at once in the heartwarming embrace of someone I love and the heartbreaking realities of lost potential. While I might've selfishly hoped Euphoria used all the tools in the toolbox to portray characters queer feelings and relationships as it does with the straight ones the dignity gained in Levinson's restraint allows for a perfectly bittersweet high school vignette that does the impossible in garnering empathy for Young Cal so I'll give it a pass.

The second best part of the episode had to be Dominic Fike as Elliot. The man is so unbelievably charismatic in a mysterious indie boy guitar strumming face tatted labeless perfect smile charming way I just love him and his character so much. Exciting to see where this all ends up.

Magnificent even better than last week's episode!

I wasn't feeling right last night so decided to watch the next morning and glad I did a refreshing episode I love how much better much better season 2 is! Some amazing back story on Cal, Rue/Cassie has ground breaking moments and this episode is hilarious I laughed at the truth or dare scene and when Fezco says no multiple times to Rue. Easily my favorite episode of Euphoria since the back story of Kat I loved that one!

    WOW

That show keep getting better and better! The plot of the 3rd episode was very nice. The storyline was well-written and the characters are very well-developed. Cal, was developed a lot on that episode, his backstory was very interesting. In my opinion, the love triangle between Maddy, Nate and Cassie it's so toxic. The acting was magnificent, especially Sydney's (Cassie). Also, I'm so glad Lexie has much more screening time. By the way, I feel so disappointed about Rue... Moreover, the soundtrack and the cinematography were LIT. Last but not least, the bathroom scene was the highlight of the episode. The ending scene was kinda shocking.

    It was fantastic

All i can say is this series is amazing, the soundtrack/music, the scenes, the story, the backstory that they made for a new character is just... All i can say is that it was great episode.

    Simple yet complex

Loved the episode. The way the producers choose to deliver us a scene they could do it normally but they choose the most cinematic way possible and its great.

Soundtracks are awesome and it what made euphoria a great show since season1.

Rue's multiple characters should have more screen time and the producers should high up the pacing just a little bit.

In the infamous scene where Cassie breaks down in the school bathroom, there is a background extra who can be seen in the mirror behind Rue seemingly leaving the bathroom four different times with the last two of these times involving said extra leaving the same stall both times in a near (but not quite) identical fashion.

Rue Bennett: Now as a beloved character that a lot of people are rooting for, I feel a certain responsibility to make good decisions.

      [Side-eye into camera]

Rue Bennett: But I relapsed. In all fairness, I did say in the beginning I had no intentions of staying clean. But I get it. Our country's dark. And fucked up. And people... just want to find hope.

      Ethan Lewis: Somewhere.

Rue Bennett: Anywhere. And if not in reality, then in television. Unfortunately, I'm not it.
