Fausto Fawcett E Os Robôs Efêmeros (With Fernanda Abreu): Juliette

A highly unusual music video by the duo Fausto Fawcett and Fernanda Abreu, from Fawcett's debut album. Like his most successful song, "Kátia Flávia", this song also deals with a problematic woman called Juliette. There's some random and fantastic imagery of things happening in Rio de Janeiro and then the story moves along about this crazed girl.

The images show random images of Rio beaches, people walking around, it's all sunny and fun and then cut to images of Fernanda and Fawcett playing news anchors while singing the song. And there are countless images and edits as clippings that keep on moving from time to time. Those crazy 1980's effects that were amazing for the period but now cannot cause any effect.

It's such an hilarious and crazed song that I have to give credit for having a music video made after it, and for everything that is described there I don't it could be possible to actually have a clip that could present such a story of a mysterious girl who is chasen by the police at the Copacabana beach after its bizarre invasion of Sargenetelli's girls being dragged by the ocean and tequila being poured on the ocean polluting the environment. It's not near the brilliance of "Kátia Flávia" but it sure looks fun to watch and hear it. 8/10.
