A profound honest series about a young man looking happiness and love. Fighting, in his manner, to accept himself. A beautiful acting , especially gived by Trystan Colburn who, in smart - touching way, explores each nuance of his character.

Derek is a guy who you meet often in near reality every day. Maybe he is yourself. And that gives to series a sort of poetic realism, because it becomes, in its three episodes, not a manifesto but a honest confession about struggle to conquest love. And peace of heart.

This is yet another HereTv Cali-venued series (that's about all their geographical limitations allow) about some typically Cali characters who have absolutely no chemistry and very little to do or say. You can't really blame the actors all that much. . The writer, Trystsan Colburn, needs to go back to school and learn his craft. This could have been so much better, especially given the fact that so much LGBTQ+ talent went in to putting this beleaguered project together. Coming of age stories such as this can be tricky to pull off. Regrettably, Colburn et al didn't even come close to achieving that. Kyle Coffman's mediocre directing didn't help lift this picture at all. All in all, it's another sickeningly Cali tale centering around a typically SoCal student and the men who come in and out of his life and whether or not they left any lasting impact on him. The sad thing is that nobody really cares.
