I think tv is at its best where it's not high effort, high expense and on a panel with just a different skin. I love taskmaster as the humour is natural and innocent and this is of the same nature (clever hey lol)
It's 6 comedians, 5 pretty established and toussant who was the only one I didn't enjoy, he just seemed to try too hard to be a focal point, like this was his shot and he wanted to stand out, I never find it funny when describing basic easy events with ridiculous overreactions and words and that seemed his style, just felt really forced but I guess with more established careers the others are more chilled.
I found the rest great, David's great in everything, Lou is that inappropriate friend you pretend you don't find funny but laugh, Jess and Kerry and good, jamali has really grown on me, the camera man idea was awesome and lastly Ed, who was more enjoyable than normal as he was relaxed.
It's scouts for delinquent adults and I really enjoyed it, was really different in terms of the constant studio based panel style quizzes.
I hope they can continue for a few runs as there's a lot of good options of camp mates to come.

I can't believe Question Team has a higher rating than this show! Outsiders is an obvious attempt to replace the amazing Taskmaster show on Dave which will take some doing but it gets pretty close. It's different, has the fabulous David Mitchell looking very uncomfortable in his surrounds and although it's again the same comedians you seem to get on all these shows at the moment they work really well together. The challenges are funny and the campfire banter is just as good as most of the comedians stand up shows! Hope it gets more series.
We live in an era whereby UK networks relentlessly churn out episode after episode of poor comedy shows. Don't get me wrong, there are some gems - QI, Have I got news for you and Taskmaster to name a few (I'm aware this is taste dependent, but you get my drift), but now in a rush to jump on the coattails of the good, we are being bombarded with concept over content shows. I have no issue with a majority of the the individuals in this show, but it's the same faces doing a tour of below par shows in a grab the cash and run mentality, giving little thought for the audience and their own reputations. I'm so sick of seeing some of these people, I would now not bother to try and catch their live shows. Yes, there are funny moments, but they are far and few between. Seriously David Mitchell; what were you thinking?
Only seen the first episode but i'm loving it so far!!! Obviously not as good as taskmaster but still hilarious! Love all of the comedians and hope they make more series! Cannot wait to watch more DAVE YOUR ORIGINAL SHOWS ARE MY MAIN SOURCE OF HAPPINESS.
The tasks were ok, but it was more about the banter between the contestants. Easy to watch and a nice light hearted way to unwind.
