I am a bit of a fan of B grade sci-fi, but wow, I can't imagine how you can get so many really bad actors together to make the movie impossible to suspend your disbelief so you can join the story.
Right, well just this movie's title in itself screams at you at full capacity not to watch this.
Yet, I opted to go against my inner voice and sit down to watch this 2022 action sci-fi movie from writer and director Joseph Mbah. Sure, I wasn't harboring a single speck of hope or expectation for the movie. But with it being a movie that I hadn't already seen, of course I gave "Alien Sniperess" a chance.
And what a waste of my time that was. Talk about a laughably poor and ridiculous storyline. Not only was it so far out there and lacking entertainment value, but the narrative was also so insanely slow that I kept on drifting off to Slumberland as the monotonous story pranced on.
The acting performances in the movie were wooden, rigid and every bit as stale as the movie's storyline. So you're not even going to be in good company while you suffer through this movie. Needless to say that I wasn't familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list here for "Alien Sniperess", and that is usually something I enjoy when watching movies. But that was not the case for "Alien Sniperess".
Visually then "Alien Sniperess" was a swing and a miss. But hey, at least that was in tune with the rest of the movie, right?
Take heed and don't waste your time, money or effort on "Alien Sniperess"; it just simply isn't worth it.
My rating of "Alien Sniperess" lands on a one out of ten stars.

Ok. So, low budget, but compelling story. Characters are not stupid or stereotypical; the acting is adequate to the task. The writing is good; my husband and I only saw a couple of plot holes, but there was a small plot twist that threw me a little during the middle of the movie.
The writing is good; we were impressed that the writer knows enough about firearm safety to have his characters know what they are doing while handling firearms. That none of the main characters held the firearms in a "gangster" manner and always kept their pointer fingers to the side of the trigger until ready to shoot, as opposed to being on the trigger where they could have accidentally fired.
I will be keeping an eye out for more from Joseph MBah; he has real potential!

Just poor in every respect. Aciting - script - directing, I seldom write reviews unless something warrants it and this does, I managed 10mins in an effort to give it a chance - 2mins would have been enough.
4 Unusual things about this generally poor film: 1. The name. Anyone prepared to release their film with a confusing name, using a word which arguably does not exist, is not exactly aiming for excellence. 2. The length. Most B movies barely go 90 mins, the goal being to make something marketable without breaking the budget. This is almost 2 hrs. Did someone think that 30 mins "extra" of more-of-the-same would really make a diff? 3. The retro vibe. If you remux this to B&W, you would literally have a film that would not raise a single eyebrow in a 1955 drive-in. Not sure that's a compliment. 4. Cinematography. Above average. Acting, writing, direction, way below average. Action sequences? Ugh. ((Designated "IMDb Top Reviewer."
