So, there's one review that's talks about how "bad" the show is which I'm going to assume they are a non-poc, Issa Rae hater OR just would rather watch Golden Girls. (No shade). This show is based solely on young black seemingly successful entrepreneurs. Something America doesn't want you to see. So far FOUR episodes with minimum drama. It's not ratchet tv at all! The theme song is great and fits the show. It's based is LA hint the title. The picture is great. They speak fluent English with a little slang. Like come on! Watch it for yourself. It's super refreshing to see young black people on tv living life! Please please give it a chance. If you are not into the black culture then no, this isn't your type of tv show.
If you want to see the life of black people outside of what the media shows then give it a chance. 10/10 so far! 😁

I love the concept of the show and it's great to see young black people being successful and not constantly on the struggle bus. There is some very high school type drama at times well a lot of the time. But it is entertaining.
I binge the first 3 episodes. Can not wait for the rest, great reality tv!!!!
Themes explored in this show:
"Feeling some kind of way."
Changing outfits.
Fighting over high school clique dynamics.
"Feeling some kind of way."
Talking about the fights and "accountability."

The concept of the show is great, young black people trying to make it in the business world; however the drama over shadows it. They're reaching for a storyline and trying to stay relative. Seems too scripted.also, I have no problem with cussing but really? They cuss too much like they're trying to be cool or something. I think they need a better cast for a show like this. I really wanted to like it but every episode just seemed to hard to watch. Each character seems like they're trying to hard to be a character and not their nature selves. I mean I can see why people like the show but i don't see how people are giving this show 10/10 lol.
