Ramesh Aravind at his best!

Throughout the 90s right from "America America" to "Amruthavarshini", he was typecast as a heartbroken lover, and it continues in this 2003 movie as well.

Firstly it has some melodious music which will stay with you even after years. I had heard the songs of this movie in childhood but I guess I never watched it until now.

Ramesh Aravind's acting is amazing and Sharan's as well. Supporting actors who are veterans have acted well too. But the story lacks a decisive female lead who for some reason does not want to show her face to the hero (Apparent nod to the classic "Beladingala Bale", loved the easter egg too). And even though she says she wants to see him reach greater heights, all she does is get him distracted with her love, which she never reveals anyway. Second half is where the story falters and Ramesh becomes mentally depressed and ends with a laughable ending.

Overall a treat for Ramesh fans with great music, decent first half, lacking second half and a mediocre unoriginal happy ending.
