Synopsis

  • Duck wakes up after an overdose to find himself in a deserted party scene with a bloody hole in his chest. A microphone flies into his hand and drags him out of the house. A mob-like crowd awaits him outside. He attempts to regain their affection, but to no avail. After being pelted with red party cups, Duck stumbles his way to safety. However, he's followed by a suspicious white van.

As Duck relieves himself in a back alley, the white van pulls up behind him. Outstep four hooded figures. Duck attempts to fight his way out, but the odds are not in his favor. Using his microphone as a weapon, Duck subdues one of his attackers. Distracted in celebration of his small victory, Duck is grabbed and restrained by two of the hooded figures. The fourth and final figure is revealed to possess Duck's heart. The figure forces the heart into Duck's chest. Looking down at his once bloody shirt, Duck finds himself new and improved. He then realizes these are not four hooded figures out to hurt him, but his friends and band-mates attempting to help him. Ashamed by his actions, Duck pushes past his friends and steals their van.

While in the heat of his swift getaway, Duck notices the trunk is loaded with band gear. He Can't Take It Anymore. He pulls the van over and wanders down the street in search of answers. Just as he's getting ready to give up, he finds a torn up flyer at his feet. The flyer floats into the air and Duck pieces it back together. It reads "Joystick! Live: One Night Only." It is then Duck knows what he must do. He sprints back to the van and returns to pick up his friends. They have a show to play!
