A Short movie about a brief portrayal of the political corruption and its fateful consequences . It starts with an aerial sight of the tourist city of Benidorm and the glamorous Grand Luxor Hotel . There at a luxurious Hotel room is Marisol : Carmen Machi , the Mayor of the known Mediteranean city along with a little group of friends , accomplices and followers . They're celebrating a party including drinks , cocain and songs, as they're singing the famous song : "Como Ayer" by Duo Dinámico: Ramon Arcusa and Manuel De La Calva . Then Amparo : Paulina García, Marisol's lover, proposes her to go Mindanao , to escape due to a embezzling , like made Luis Roldan himself .
Most part in "Mindanao" short is set at a hotel suite and a restaurant dealing with conversations about prevarication, corruption , embezzlement of public funds and possible getaway . At the end our starring makes a difficult decision , whether staying in Spain by taking on justice or escape to Mindanao, Philippines . Stars Carmen Machi who gives a stunning acting , as usual. Machi is one of the best Spanish actresses , as Cinema as Television, with penchant for comedy genre, such as: "8 apellidos vascos, 8 apellidos catalanes , Que se mueran los feos, Descongelate , Un rey en la Habana, Perdieron el Norte , Mi Gran Noche , Vilaviciosa de al lado, La Tribu , Thi Mai Rumbo a Vietnam , Perdiendo el Este , Kamikaze , Lo nunca visto" , among others . The Short was well directed by Borja Soler . This craftsman has written and made some enjoyable Shorts such as : "Ahora seremos felices" 2018 , "Snorkel" 2019 , directing episodes of "Antidisturbios " TV series and "La Ruta" .
