Interestingly the star of Lady Vengeance Lee Young-ae plays an ex police officer in pursuit of a serial killer played by Kim Hye-jun, who kills evil people. It is well acted particularly by these two ladies and parts of the story and interaction with the leads are very entertaining. Sadly the series is let down by the writers as the story takes a quirky individual in Lee Young-ae and makes her stupidly annoying. The ending is a little cobbled together and the humour within the series is mostly a miss. So disappointed as with this cast it could have been brilliant and it parts of the series it is, but then it dips to mundane.
I am totally in love. She is the most impressive person I have ever seen since Arnold and ABBA. Yes I am old, like that hehehe. But this is good. So good. I am only onto episode 2, but I am so impressed. So much fun, so impressive I just have to say Thank You for this.
This is so nice to see Lee Yeong-ae surrounded by amazing cast and display her talent as a serious, clever and funny character. This is a refreshing portrait of a drunk devasted detective ! Original as all the clues come and go. We appreciate all the roles and it is cool to see this gang becoming attached to each others. Lee Yeong-ae is perfect and the outfit is legendary. We get more in 1 season than we usually get from other series, this shows how generous korean series are ! This serie has some flaws but overall it Is so pleasant to watch that it is ok.
Korean Drama "Inspector Koo" has a truly dynamic duo. Though, to be fair, Miss Koo herself is a delightful mess. But K too was intriguing and a complex character that, alas, was not well explored and left half baked in the end.
But, first thing first. The main story is pretty entertaining, filled with action, and with an interesting take when it came to explaining the events in a theatrical way. However, things got bleak quickly and overcomplicated towards the ending.
The two leading ladies, on the other hand, were incredible together. They had chemistry and their interactions were something to look forward in each episode, other than their individual arcs. The other side characters were interesting as well, not matching the main leads, but being fairly complex themselves.
Finally, the performances were all enjoyable and great by everyone.
So, overall, 7 out of 10.

Such a good concept, mesmerising intro, and the best soundtrack I've seen in k-drama so far. Lead is really strong too, it has real Death Note vibe. Shame that action is going downhill pretty quickly. It's not bad, but it could be better. Visually 10/10, writing let's it down...
